As the reports started coming in media circle that Indian liquor Barron Vijay Mallya is going to Buy 50% Stake in Spyker f1 team the mercury in the Formula one scenario here in India is rising high.And for now the report is confirmed that this offer has been accepted by the board of Spyker Cars and exclusivity has been granted to the consortium Orange India Holdings to proceed with due diligence.to achieve completion within 30 days,? the partners said in a joint statement late on Friday.
As all of us Know that Spyker aka Midland(2006),aka Jordan before that has a long history of financial crisis.Jordan Grand Prix was a Formula One constructor that competed from 1991 to 2005. The team is named after Irish businessman and founder Eddie Jordan.In early 2005, the team was sold to Midland Group of Alex Schnaider a russian born Steel magnet, which competed for one final season as 'Jordan', before renaming the team as MF1 Racing for the 2006 season, before being sold again later in 2006 to Dutch car manufacturer Spyker.
Jordan Grand prix is known for producing and giving first platform for some of worlds greatest racing talents like Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barichello, Giancarlo Fisichella, Ralf Schumacher,Jarno Trulli. In fact First Indian Formula one Racer Narain Karthikeyan got his first chance in f1 in the same team.But Jordan deffinately dont have a good race record after all.It had only 4 race wins in total 250 races till 2005.And their very best constructor title came only in year 1999 with overall 3rd position.So one can bring result that how good Team Jordan was in Its formula racing days.
Nothing much have changed for Jordan errrr Spyker instead of their owners at a regular interval.And Now One more Name is coming And that is VIJAY MALLYA.Mallya is one of the most successfull Businessman out there And he is following the Formula one Scenario for quite some time Now he knows the realities about Spyker(Jordan). So he is well prepared for the challenges ahead.He is one of those first men in India who always wanted that India Should host a Grand prix Session.This initiative shows his determination towards it.
So what will we see next year after the 'Mallya factor' in Formula one? If everything goes well inside the team Williams who has aquired Narain Karthikeyan as its first Test Driver Narain will surely get a chance for running on Sundays.Nico Rosberg the first main driver of Williams is expected to move For Mclaren or Renault as the insiders if f1 guess.So if the politics of formula racing does not bother narain he is surely going to race for Williams next year.
